bad numbers

My spirometry (breathing test) numbers were so poor at the Clinic the docs said they were in the "transplant" range. Transplant! I'd love a new set of lungs (plus other things), but...

So if you hear me wheezing on the bus, at work, in class, or on the phone, it's because I have "bad numbers."

Good God. Amy, that sounds truly horrible.

Does this mean you are exhausted all the time?

Yeah. I sleep most weekends and don't leave the house unless I absolutely have to. Got a new doc, though. Am hopeful.

Geez that completely sucks. It's the spring too. Do you react to pollen?

I'm worried about you. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I'm coming over there, baby, and I'm bringing my lungs.

Hang tough.

sorry to hear you're having some health problems. and i'm hoping Spring makes things better, not worse (if this is allergy stuff).

Is it progressive? Can you arrest the problem? What causes it to happen?

You don't have bad numbers. You won the thingy thing, right? Those aren't bad numbers!
