I wish I were one of those people who must clean the house when procrastinating.
Need to be in "lock-down" to work on my thesis, which, by the way (Frank) is now in 5 sections.
Haven't seen a movie in months and months, till last night. At the end of No Country for Old Men I burst out laughing, the only sound in the theater. When I saw the black-out signalling the end of the film, I thought, "No! They're not going to...will they dare to...yes, they are going to end the movie here!"
Those Coen Bros--I like them again.

I am also horrible about procrastination. I think the only thing that gets me to work on my thesis is fear (and that goes for the thesis I did for my BFA as well). Utter terror of producing crap. Hi by the way... this is Meagan Call. I think I was in the internship class w/ you spring 07? Join the MFA blog!
I will! Thanks Meagan.
Great! My email is hadesarrow(at) yahoo(dot)com. If you send me yours I can get you an invite. I'll try to link your blog on the side sometime this afternoon.
On Fridays, before I can start writing I have to clean everything. Everything has to be sparse. I'm sure there's some pill I could take for that :)
And I LOVED no country for old men. I laughed at the end too. Those C brothers. They're just so tricky. Though I am teaching The Road to my Lit. classes, and I really loved the idea about carrying the fire--so when I saw it--I was glad they ended it there.
Jessica--so glad you laughed too! I once was a big McCarthy fan, but I drifted away by the time The Road came out...
I just saw No Country For Old Men today. I think that the movie was better then the book because they did not carry on for forty pages. I laughed, but more at the fact that everyone in the theatre did not know what was going on. Hope the thesis is going well. Can't wait to see you in class next week.
Amy - Meagan was the woman I said visited Pen in Hand and I said you probably knew her. :-)
I cannot imagine was doing a thesis is like. Carlo just so "No Country for Old Men," and keeps talking about it and saying I have to see it. Evidently so.
*waves*
Just saw it last week myself. Loved Woody Harrelson. Loved the movie.
I have a comment about procrastination and I will send it tomorrow.......
